While I love working with each patient, getting to know them as a person, I really enjoy working with patients who are undergoing a full-mouth reconstruction. Seeing the changes that happen in a person, as Dr. Freyne develops and gives them the smile that they have dreamed about, and their happiness when they’ve finished treatment and can smile with confidence, is a wonderful experience. My workday is very patient-focused, from welcoming them as they arrive to ensuring that they are comfortable, relaxed, and happy during treatment. I take dental X-rays and impressions, prepare bleach trays, and am chairside assisting our doctor during procedures.
I was born in the Philippines and now live in Silver Spring, MD, where I am happily married to my loving and caring husband, Raymond. We are active members in the Catholic Church and we teach religious education on Sundays during the school year. Once or twice a year we take a road trip to New England to visit Raymond’s mother and other relatives.
Front Desk and Office Manager
I love getting to know our patients on a personal level, exchanging stories, and catching up on their lives at their next visit. Each person comes to us with a unique and diverse background of experiences. When they talk with me about their families and interests, I find myself thinking about them as friends, and that’s a great feeling. I greet our patients when they arrive and take care of the check-in and check-out processes. I also answer our phones, handle general correspondence, and make patient appointments. And I help answer patients’ questions about billing and insurance, to make sure they understand their financial responsibilities and how their benefits work.
When I’m not here at the office, you’ll find me spending time with my wonderful nephew, creating new dishes for my beau, and finding fun ways to work out. I love snowboarding with my friends, as well as hula hooping, running, and biking.
